Multivitamins: Benefits VS. Side Effects

The human body requires various vitamins and minerals on a daily basis to keep you healthy and functioning at your best. We were meant to get all of these important vitamins and minerals each day from our regular daily diet. So what is the use of multivitamins? The problem is, the typical “regular daily diet” these days often fails to do that. Multivitamin suplies most of all essential vitamins and minerals that we are supposed to be supplying our bodies in the form of a super convenient supplement. With vitamins you just take a single tablet and it provides more or less the sum of vitamins-minerals your diet might be lacking. You should pay attention on time release and non-time release vitamins. Time-released multivitamins are usually more expensive but provide considerable advantage as minerals and vitamins are released at a slower, but more steady rate. This allows for better retention, and an overall better value. There is little sense in spending money on a product, only to rid yourself of the vitamins as your urinate. However, they still won’t just make it happen. Multivitamins are just one side of the coin. To achieve those types of goals you will need a proper diet and hard workout !
Side effect: Multivitamins are the safest supplements but still there are things to watch over! The first thing to do before you take multivitamins is to visit a doctor. Make sure you tell your doctor all your medical conditions and allergies.Do not take multivitamins without telling your doctor if you are pregnant or plan to become pregnant. Some vitamins and minerals can harm an unborn baby if taken in large doses, also multivitamins can pass into breast milk and may harm a nursing baby. Do not use this medication without telling your doctor if you are breast-feeding a baby. Never take more than the recommended dose of a multivitamin. Avoid taking more than one multivitamin product at the same time unless your doctor tells you to. An overdose of vitamins A, D, E, or K can cause serious or life-threatening side effects. Don’t take the medicine with any products that contains calcium!!
